Suzy visited last July just weeks after my surgery. She was a beautiful pregnant woman! Here she is with my parents.We left the beach house on Thursday night and stayed at Chad's. He had a race at Talladega so we had the house to ourselves. We were determined to meet little Porter and thankfully, Suzy had Friday morning open (well...she actually skipped a mommy/baby gym class). She drove to Chad's (about 15-20 minute drive) and it finally happened!! We met little Porter Lynn Barnhart...now 8 months old and, as of a couple of weeks ago...going through the "I want my mommy only" phase. We all remember that one! It didn't matter to us. It was wonderful to just look at the baby and watch "MOMMY" Suzy with her precious daughter!
It was a fun visit and Suzy is planning to make a trip to Ohio in the fall! So everyone will get to meet Porter! We can't wait!

Grandpa Mike let her play with his cell phone which got him a minute or two before she remembered that she wasn't on mommy's lap!
I love this picture! It looks like Porter is just sick of all the mushy hugging and kissing and fussing..."gag me!"
