Michele just called. She is having trouble accessing the internet to post her information.
Conner is out of surgery...1:20pm. He is doing good. Surgery was the right decision. The "tail" was quite large. His spinal fluids are moving along nicely.
He is in recovery and Michele will be able to see him in a hour. (2:20) He will be watched in Intensive Care tonight then, hopefully, moved to his room tomorrow.
The doctor prepared Michele for seeing him. He said he will look very small and like he has been through a fight. He also said he is going to be very sore.
The doctor told Michele..."he is a pleasant little guy. we talked in the operating room." I think we can all imagine that conversation! Conner doesn't know a stranger!
Michele sounded relieved and emotional. She will keep trying to access the internet to do her own blog post.
Keep the prayers going! The next several hours will be rough on everyone.
