Fell down and went boom....

Last Monday my children were here and all was well. Two of my little ones were reading in the family room and the ceiling fan was running on low. I thought the air was too cool on them. I pulled over a Little Tykes plastic chair and stood on it to turn off the fan and my foot slipped and I fell. I broke the bone in my lower leg....I can't even remember the name of it right now. It was a clean break and the tendons and ligaments look good. Boot cast for 4-6 weeks.

The computer desk isn't very comfortable so not much emailing or blogging for a while.

Thanks to Cortney and Conner who helped me with the phone and phone numbers the morning I fell and to my families who, again, had to call their back ups. Thanks to my parents for taking me to the ER and to my husband & parents who, again, have to take care of me.

Oh, if I had it all to do over again.....

I looked so sad and pitiful in this picture that I refused to post my head! And my hair looked terrible!

Dinosaur snack!

I send out a weekly newsletter and photo album to my daycare families. Valerie called me over the weekend and said..."Mom! Look at the picture of Jimmy and Dayla in the playhut. It looks like the dinosaur on Jimmy's shirt is eating his poptart!"

She's right! lol I never even noticed it!

Dayla, Jimmy and a hungry dinosaur!

Chloe hug...

I was walking through the living room last week and caught Mike sleeping on the couch and Chloe was tucked in beside him with her paws over him. It was so cute! Of course, I grabbed the camera!

I think Chloe loves her "daddy."

KOPS (Kids Offering Praise & Songs)

The children sang in their pajamas on Sunday, January 27th! They were so cute! We had several singers sick that day and we missed them terribly! My grandchildren were out of town.

We sang "In the morning when the sun comes up up up to the evening when the sun goes down....the name of the Lord our God is to be praised!

So in the morning when I first wake up up up to the evening when my head lays down...I'm gonna praise the name of the Lord my God!"

Then we sang a wonderful contemporary song "In the Blink of an Eye!"

This month we are singing and celebrating love and friendships....We will be singing "With All My Heart" featuring Cortney Crabtree, Madison Miller, Grace Miller and "Hide" featuring Renae Wright, Marissa Sees and Conner Crabtree.

We sing the last Sunday of each month during morning worship!

A few more Cleveland pics...

This was a view of our real seats from the seats where we watched Madison dance. We moved to the highest level. As I said below...it wasn't so bad. We had lots of fun up there!

This is picture that I lost in the Cleveland blog post. I wanted you to see some more of their moves. They were great!

I took this picture of the Goodyear blimp from our car window. When we first spotted it, we thought it was a balloon! The closer we got the BIGGER it became! It is huge! This was about noon....Mike said it was going to be very late for the Super Bowl in Arizona!

Cav's game

Mike and I traveled to Cleveland last weekend to watch Madison dance at the Cavs game! We had lots of fun and were very proud of Madison and the Elite dance team.

I didn't get the pictures uploaded in order.....hope it isn't too confusing!

Madison and her proud mom. We loved her costume and hair!

Each of the "mini" dancers is assigned a "big sister." This is Madison with her big sis, Taylor Burke. Taylor is an incredible dancer and a wonderful mentor for Maddie

I caught this picture of Madison waiting in line. I love her expression...

Along the Concourse you will find lots of fun things going on. These dancers were fantastic! They actually came up to our Grace and wanted her to rap into the microphone and dance but she wasn't having any of it. They were so good it was a little intimidating!

Time to dance! I got many of the pictures out of order!

This is the mini group lined up and ready to start.

This is a great picture of the entire team on the floor...Seniors, Juniors and Minis!

Dance is done....lots of loud applause....excited dancers running off the floor!

These pictures should have been before the dance...oops. This is a view from the area where we watched the dance. They were great seats!

Grace's close up...

Waiting patiently for the pre game program to begin. Our dancers are first at 7pm!

These guys walked around the Concourse and let the kids shoot hoops!

At every time out or break in the game...something exciting happened on the floor...great bands, dancers, cheerleaders and here was an American Gladiator challenging the Cav's mascot!

Sorry these are so out of order. Here.... the dancing is done and we are in our real seats...in the clouds....close to heaven!

Miller sisters....

Miller girls....

The view from our seats. They were very high but they were actually very good seats and we had lots of fun!!

We went back to the hotel after halftime so the girls could swim. Grandpa Mike had to try on Madison's hair piece!

Grace had to try it on too!

She was so HAPPY to finally get to swim!

Grandpa Mike had a painful shoulder and back but he wouldn't stay in the hottub....he just had to play in the pool with the kids! He's a fun Grandpa!

Packed up and ready to head home.

We actually followed Matt and Val to the Belden Village Mall area in Canton where we ate at Olive Garden and did a little shopping. What a fun weekend!!

Newest Test Results

The envelope arrived in the mail yesterday but I didn't open it until today! It looked like another doctor bill and those aren't very exciting to open so I sat it on my desk for later!

Blood work looks good...A couple of highlights...

VLDL....February was 83. New number is 63. Normal is 9-31 *CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT THIS IS?

Hematology report....all levels were normal.

The back x-rays I don't really understand but I'm going to take a guess that it could read...OLD BONES.

Anterior spurring at C-4,5 & 6. Slight narrowing at C5-6. Impression: Degenerative change

Disc space narrowing is present at L1-2 and L2-3. Impression: Degenerative change.

I didn't see anything on my 24 hour urine test. I'm always interested in the protein content. That's want sent me to the kidney doctor in the first place. It was off the charts.

I'll let you know when it comes.

I guess I'm tired because I'm tired....no underlying problems and the backache might be something I will have to live with.

I'm happy with the results!
Another blessing in my story!

love to all...
